Chris Rock To Replace Conan At The Tonight Show?

There’s a rumor floating around that NBC is considering sacking Conan O’Brien as the host of the Tonight Show, which is spiraling in the ratings since O’Brien’s  takeover from Jay Leno last year, and replacing him with Jerry Seinfeld, or with their second choice Chris Rock.

According to cinema blog Shadowandact:

“Jerry Seinfeld is said to be the front-runner for the gig, but NBC may not be able to agree to his terms, leaving, from what I hear, Chris Rock as next in line on NBC’s short list of potentials, if they are unable to reach a deal with Seinfeld.”

They groomed Conan for five years so I hope they don’t give up on him so quickly but the thought of Chris Rock hosting the Tonight Show is quite intriguing.
