Fish is full of Omega 3 oils, which are essential for heart health. Here’s a simple recipe for baking peppered flounder.
What you’ll need:
1 lb Flounder (approximately 6 pieces)
2/3 cup milk
4 tbsp. black pepper
4 tbsp. red pepper
4 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. parsley flakes
Mix the black pepper, red pepper, garlic powder, salt together and set the mixture aside. Mix the egg and milk together. Cut one lemon in half and squeeze the juice into the pepper mixture.
Set the oven on bake at 350 degrees. Spray a pan with non stick spray. Put the flounder in the liquid mix. Cover it completely, then coat fish in the pepper rub. Repeat these steps for all the pieces of flounder. Take the second lemon and cut it into eight slices. Add the parsley flakes to the lemon slices. Bake the fish for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Garnish the flounder with the parsley covered lemon slices. The flounder goes great with potatoes and vegetables.
This recipe would work for other types of fish as well such as tilapia and sole.
